| Biography | Abe Kass, MA RSW RMFT CCHT, is a registered social worker, registered couple and family therapist, award-winning educator, and prolific writer. Abe has a busy family therapy practice working with individuals, couples, and their families of all faiths and backgrounds. Abe loves to see individuals happy and their families strong, harmonious, and resilient. Abe has a clinical practice working with individuals, couples, and their families from his office in Thornhill, Ontario (near Toronto), Canada. He works with individuals and couples worldwide using the Zoom program and phone. Abe is the publisher of SmartLife self-help educational books and programs. Abe has authored eighteen self-help books, audio-books, and hundreds of self-help articles. Abe graduated from Norwich University in Vermont, receiving his interdisciplinary master’s degree in social work and family therapy. He also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California where he graduated with honors. He successfully completed his internship at Jewish Family and Child Service in Toronto and the George Hull Center for Children and Families in Etobicoke. Abe is a former part-time professor of psychology at the Beth Jacob Academy of Higher Learning in Toronto. Abe is a steady contributor to local newspapers, writing as an authority on personal and family life, and is frequently reprinted in other publications throughout North America. Abe is married, has seven adult children, and too many grandchildren to count! |
